Product Overview

• Bonda G4 Black Pond Sealer is a polyurethane-based sealant designed to provide a waterproof and durable coating for ponds, concrete surfaces, and masonry.
• It is UV-resistant, offering long-term protection against algae and sunlight damage.
• The black finish helps create a natural-looking pond bottom and enhances fish visibility.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation

• Ensure the pond surface is dry, clean, and porous (concrete must be cured for at least 3 weeks).
• Remove any dirt, grease, or algae before application.

2. Base Coat (Clear G4 Recommended)

• Apply one or two coats of G4 Clear as a base layer to enhance adhesion.
• Allow each coat to dry until tacky (usually within 1–2 hours).

3. Applying G4 Black

• Once the clear base coat is dry, apply two coats of G4 Black for maximum protection.
• Allow the first black coat to dry before applying the second.
• Ensure no more than 4 hours passes between coats for proper bonding.

4. Curing Time

• Allow at least 72 hours before filling the pond with water.
• Rinse the surface thoroughly before introducing fish or plants.

Coverage

• 1kg covers approximately 1.5 - 2m² (for two coats).
• More coats may be needed for rough or porous surfaces.
