Bonda G4 Pond Sealer Clear is a moisture-cured polyurethane designed to create a non-porous seal on concrete, brick, or porous stone surfaces. It utilizes moisture from the air and substrate to cure, allowing application even on slightly damp surfaces. This sealer is particularly suitable for sealing concrete ponds, as it effectively seals out lime and can be applied in various weather conditions, including high humidity and temperatures as low as 0°C.

Application Guidelines:

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the cement render is clean, dry, and porous. Avoid highly trowelled surfaces. New render should harden for 21-28 days, depending on conditions. Remove any reinforcing fibers in the cement render by burning or sanding before coating. Repair any cracks or damaged areas.
2. First Coat: Apply the first coat by brush, avoiding thick layers. Allow it to become fingerprint dry or dry enough to walk carefully upon, typically within 60-90 minutes, depending on humidity.
3. Subsequent Coats: Apply additional coats following the same procedure. Do not allow more than 4 hours to elapse between each coat. Normally, three coats are sufficient, but a fourth may be necessary for very porous or rough surfaces.
4. Curing: Allow the sealer to harden for 72 hours before washing down with clean water.

For a 2.5kg container, the coverage is approximately 550g per square meter for three coats.
